#1 ~ Iron Kettle Farm

Halloween is almost here!!!  Have you made your way to a pumpkin farm yet?  I was lucky enough to join my boyfriend and his daughter at Iron Kettle Farm a few weeks ago.  This has been a gorgeous Fall and I feel totally grateful for these days.  Spending the afternoon appreciating the sunshine, taking in the smell of cinnamon donuts and apple cider, visiting with farm animals, lounging on a hayride, and checking out the "Spooktacular Pumpkin Display", makes for a fantastic day with those you love!!  And let us not forget  about the peanut butter and chocolate fudge!!  I think it's the best I've ever had!!
The Corn Maze!!!

Seated on shoulders for a great Autumn view!
I'd have to say my favorite part of the day was the "Corn Maze".  We never did make it out the way we were supposed to.  But, it was definitely a nice time, lazily walking amidst the corn stalks, taking in the scenery.  My boyfriend's daughter had the best view... seated up high on her dad's shoulders.  You'd think she'd be able to help us find our way through!!!

Here are some other highlights:
Love that witch!!!
That's one happy pumpkin!!!

No more monkeys jumping on the bed!!!!
Any four year old's favorite ~ "Toy Story"!!!
It's Hansel and Gretel. (Love that gingerbread house!!)
Glitter paint....WOOOO!!!!
A cornucopia of goodies at Iron Kettle Farm.  :)
Iron kettle Farm is open every day through Halloween!!!
Wish I could get more of that fudge.  Mmmmm....

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!

Binghamton, NY is my HOME

Gorgeous photo of Confluence Park in Binghamton, NY taken by Mike Woolever.  Our city can be so beautiful....you just need to see it through the right filter and choose to perceive with positivity.  I am incredibly grateful for this town and the people in it.

About 365 Binghamton: (taken from our official Facebook page)

This page was inspired by a thread written on my personal Facebook page. After seeing a study done on the Binghamton area, citing how depressed the people and economy were, I felt inspired to share my own thoughts. This is what I had to say...

"This is my hometown. Where I grew up. And where I've chosen to settle. I've lived in different places, and I will tell you that, in my experience anyways, there is no place like home. Home is where your LOVE is.... even if the economy is bad, even if the rivers have flooded. If you can shift your focus inward, your perspective changes. I LOVE Upstate NY, and I love the people whom surround me here. Yes, Binghamton is gray.....but that just makes you appreciate the SUN even more!! ♥ The grass can't get greener without the rain. Have some faith. Think positive. Move onward and upward!!! Spread the Binghamton LOVE!!! DO IT!!!!!!!"

I received many messages telling me that I should start up a blog highlighting all that is great about this city. One woman in particular brought up the idea of doing a "365 Things to Do" in Binghamton type of commentary. I LOVED THE IDEA!! So, here I am. The intent of this page is to share with you all that is great about my beloved city and home of choice. I hope to come up with 365+ things to do in this area, with your help of course!! Inspire me!! Tell me what's great!! And, I'll inspire you!!
